Established in 2025, Shillong Medical College is located in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. As the state's first government-run medical college, it is situated in the state capital, Shillong, with its campus located at Pasteur Hills, Lawmali Pyllun. The college began operations and inaugurated its first MBBS batch in late 2025.
