Overview on MP NEET Counselling

The MP 2025 NEET counseling will take place online via the official website DME, MP -- usually following the announcement of NEET UG results by NTA. The counseling process is designed to help candidates gain admission into government medical colleges , as well as private and deemed medical schools in Madhya Pradesh.The counseling includes 85% of the state quota in government colleges, and 100% in private medical schools. The remaining 15% in government colleges is reserved for the All India Quota managed by MCC.

MP Counselling typically includes four main stages:

1.Initial Allotment Round

  • They can take part in Round 2 if they are not allocated.

Important Candidates that fail to report within 24 hours of the allotment date will be disqualified.

2.Second Counselling round

The second round takes place for the vacant seats that remain after Round 1. The second round is for candidates who didn't get a seat in Round 1 or want to upgrade.This round requires a new choice to be filled in. Seat Upgrades may also be allowed. After the Round 2 allocation is announced, candidates must go to their college and confirm their admission.

The mop up round is the next step after Round 2.

3.Clean-up Round

In most cases, the mop-up round is done offline to fill any remaining seats in MP NEET counselling after the two previous rounds.Students with slightly lower NEET scores should not miss this round, because the competition is relatively easier.

4. College-Level Vacancy Round

This round is used to fill any remaining seats which were not filled in the previous rounds.To claim seats, candidates must come to the institution with their documents, NEET Scorecard and admission fees.

The following documents must be available for students to present at the time of registration and reporting

  • Admission Card for NEET and Scorecard
  • Mark Sheets for Class 10 and 12
  • Domicile certificate (for MP Residents)
  • Caste Certificate
